Surround Sound Receivers allow you to experience theater like sound in your home whether viewing a DVD or watching your favorite show on Antenna TV, Satellite or Cable. They also offer extreme versatility when listening to your favorite music by supplying numerous surround setting designed specifically for music enjoyment.

Surround Sound Receivers will also allow you to connect a number of video sources (DVD, Satellite, Game Consoles, CamCorders, etc.) and do all of the source switching for you. This eliminates the need to change inputs on your TV making it much simpler to quickly enjoy all of your video playback products.

Surround Sound Receivers include both an amplifier and tuner and allow for switching of the various playback devises you have connected. Some also offer the capability to listen to XM Radio (a subscription and XM antenna are required for XM listening)
